Job summary

LifeStream in Palm Desert, CA seeks a Full Time Phlebotomist/Donor Services to provide excellent donor care, register donors, conduct interviews, and perform whole blood phlebotomy.

You will monitor donor recovery, document procedures, and ensure equipment QC while working at multiple draw sites. A HS diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred; CPR and a CA driver’s license are required. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• EMT/MA/CNA certifications optional.
• Current CPR certification and CA driver’s license required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service during donor registration and interviews.
• Perform phlebotomy and monitor donor recovery and adverse reactions.
• Conduct pre-donation tests and document records accurately.
• Prepare pre-donation samples and ensure QC on equipment.
• Recruit donors to Blood Bank programs and manage multiple draw locations.
