Job summary

LifeStream seeks a Full-Time Phlebotomist at the Placentia Donor Center in Placentia, CA. You will perform donor registration, interviews, basic health checks, and phlebotomy for whole blood collections while ensuring donor safety and program recruitment.

Responsibilities include equipment QC, documentation, and occasional travel to other draw sites. A High School diploma or GED and CPR are required or will be pursued; phlebotomy certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• One to two years of customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred or required per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Register donors and conduct donor interviews both on computer and paper forms.
• Perform phlebotomy including allogeneic and directed whole blood collection.
• Conduct basic pre-donation tests (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, hematocrit/hemoglobin).
• Monitor donor recovery and manage adverse donor reactions.
• Conduct daily equipment setup, QC and maintenance per procedure.
• Complete all donor and procedure documentation accurately and timely.
• Recruit donors to blood bank programs and events; work at multiple draw locations as needed.
