Donor Services Field Manager, Hoxworth Blood Center, Mobile Unit Red Team

Join us as a Donor Services Field Manager, Hoxworth Blood Center, Mobile Unit Red Team at UC James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy.

Position Overview: Manage the donor services collection team on our Mobile Units (Red Team), oversee operations, ensure efficient donor flow, staff utilization, and compliance with regulations. Support the university's mission of excellence and community service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor operations for quality customer service and achievement of collection goals.
• Perform donation procedures in compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Develop and update SOPs.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to donor care.
• Train and evaluate donor services staff.
• Collaborate with administrative staff on organizational changes.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including 3 years in supervisory roles.
• Proficiency in automated blood collection techniques.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
