Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain accurate records.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate center process improvements using approved procedures.
