Job description

Our Donor Scheduler are responsible for the selection, education, communication, and recruitment of blood donors for special programs and/or converting donors to special procedures. This position requires excellent customer service and inside sales skills as you will be interacting with potential blood donors by phone. Candidates must be friendly and reliable, be comfortable using computers, and possess strong written and verbal skills.

This is a part-time working under 20 hours a week position working Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday 9 am to Noon.

Donor Scheduler responsibilities can include:

• Telephoning prospective donors from established call lists/files, scheduling donation appointments and maintaining accurate donor records.
• Responsible for advanced recruitment activities to include conducting research to identify new donors for special procedures.
• Interact in a positive, friendly, and customer-focused manner with donors.
