Job summary

Albuquerque Community Foundation is seeking a Donor Services Associate to support donor database management, gift processing, and donor communications. This fully in-person role reports to the Vice President of Development and starts Fall 2026 in Downtown Albuquerque.

The position focuses on onboarding fundholders, donor acknowledgments, and coordinating fundraising events, with hands-on experience in a collaborative foundation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, nonprofit, development, or customer service roles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to donors, fundholders, and professional advisors.
• Assist with donor engagement activities including scheduling, meeting prep, follow-up communication, and mailings.
• Support the onboarding process for new fundholders by preparing and tracking fundholder materials and forms.
• Coordinate regular donor acknowledgment processes such as thank-you letters, calls, and other touchpoints.
• Maintain accurate donor and prospect records in the Foundation’s database called Community Suite.
• Generate reports and donor lists for mailings, campaigns, and outreach efforts.
• Organize and update development-related materials including fund agreements, giving handouts, and quarterly fundraising letters.
• Provide administrative support to the Development team on events and committees.
