Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks a Philanthropy Officer I to assist in planning and organizing fundraising activities for the region under the Executive Director Philanthropy. You will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate, foundation and individual donors, with capacity for five- and six-figure gifts, and manage a portfolio of major prospects.

You will record contacts in Raiser's Edge NXT, prepare proposals, and coordinate donor events while aligning with the Foundation’s priorities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of fundraising experience required.
• 3+ years in healthcare and/or not-for-profit sector preferred.
• At least 2 years of grant writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward individual, foundation and corporate gifts.
• Manage relationships with 10–20 prospective donors.
• Record all prospect contacts in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Develop and present proposals to donors and foundations.
• Plan major donor cultivation events and activities.
