Job summary

The Dallas Foundation seeks a Manager of Donor Services to provide exemplary support to fundholders and prospective donors, manage donor stewardship, grantmaking support, gift recognition, and database administration. This role balances organizational priorities with donor needs, requires high emotional intelligence, strong customer service, and collaboration with the Philanthropic Partnerships team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building long-term donor relationships and providing stellar customer service.
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising or donor relations.
• Strong knowledge of the Dallas philanthropic landscape.
• Ability to work with high net worth individuals and families.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and steward a portfolio of donors.
• Assist with the implementation of donor-focused strategies to deepen relationships and increase resources.
• Respond to donor inquiries with high touch, exceptional service, and timely response.
• Donor portal management including login, training, grant history, fund balances, statements, and grant recommendations.
• Provide donor research, information, and funding opportunities in donors' areas.
• Review and approve grant requests from fundholders in a timely manner.
• Create financial reports for advisor client review meetings.
