Job summary

Metrocrest Services is seeking an entry-level Development Specialist to advance fundraising operations and community engagement in the north Dallas area. You will process gifts, manage donor records, and support reporting while cultivating relationships with donors and partners through our annual giving program.

The role blends administrative fundraising tasks with frontline community engagement, working 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit, sales, marketing, customer service, account management, business development, or a related relationship-based profession.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, donor management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible ambassador for Metrocrest Services at events and outreach opportunities.
• Build relationships with businesses, civic organizations, and community groups to identify opportunities for support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cultivate philanthropic interest and qualify prospective donors for strategic cultivation.
• Maintain donor interaction records and support fundraising reporting and dashboards.
• Support day-to-day fundraising operations and sponsorship fulfillment.
