Job summary

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care in Kansas City is seeking a Donor and Community Partnership Specialist to cultivate and steward donor relationships and support third-party fundraising events. You will collaborate with the Development and Communications team to advance philanthropic goals and engage mid-level donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• 3–5 years fundraising experience in a complex, data-driven organization is required; healthcare fundraising preferred.
• 3–5 years fundraising events experience required.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge/NXT or comparable is required.
• Comfortable learning and using new software systems (including P2P) and WordPress management.
• Strong written communication, editing, and data-driven decision making is required.
• Knowledge of donor communications and interactions is essential.
