Job summary

ICNA Relief USA Programs in Michigan is seeking an Outreach Coordinator II to lead local outreach efforts from the Hamtramck office. You will build relationships with community leaders, mosques, and Islamic organizations to raise awareness and support for our relief services.

The role covers donor engagement, data reporting, volunteer recruitment, and event coordination. You will work with the Area Manager to implement campaigns, attend prayers when needed, and develop partnerships to expand

Qualifications

• Experience managing social work programs and coordinating with gov bodies and other volunteers.
• Relevant certifications and diverse experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office apps.
• Excellent communication skills mandatory.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with community leadership including Masjids, Community Leaders, and Islamic Organizations.
• Increase awareness about the organization and its social work locally.
• Manage donor relations: revenue collection, donor retention, and new donor acquisition.
• Follow up with donors via phone, email and in-person visits.
• Prepare reports on in-person donor visits.
• Coordinate with community groups and forge partnerships with supporting organizations.
• Recruit, train, and grow the local volunteer base.
• Be available during Taraweeh and Jumu’ah prayers during Ramadan.
• Collect and report accurate data; maintain records and timely reports.
• Act as the first point of contact for inquiries on field relief work.
• Execute national campaigns, banquets, fundraisers, and other events.
