Job summary

OneLegacy is the nation\'s largest organ, eye, and tissue recovery organization, dedicated to saving lives and sharing hope. The RCC role supports donor referrals, reviews medical records, and collaborates with hospital staff to optimize donation opportunities.

Duties include coordinating with the medical team, ensuring brain death documentation accuracy, and supporting the donation process from intake to recovery across sites.

Qualifications

• Education: EMT, Paramedic or LVN license.
• Experience: Required work experience in the medical field/ medical terminology.
• Certification/License: A current California driver’s license, auto insurance based on California minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Referral Management Process: respond to potential donor referrals and assess suitability.
• Establish relationships with hospital staff to increase referral activity.
• Review medical records and populate EMR per policy with direction from leadership.
• Coordinate end-of-life discussions to offer donation opportunities to authorized parties.
• Support donation process at recovery center including transport, logistics, and documentation.
