Job summary

Parkland Foundation is seeking a Prospect Research Strategist to design and lead a proactive research program to identify and cultivate donors at all levels. The role focuses on optimizing identification, research, analysis, and pipeline management to meet fundraising goals.

Responsibilities include directing all phases of prospect research, developing tailored strategies aligned with Parkland’s priorities, and maintaining strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of experience in prospect research or leading prospect strategy for a major gifts fundraising team.
• Experience can be substituted for education.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of prospect identification, research, review and pipeline management with development officers.
• Creates and executes strategies for identifying prospects in line with Parkland's fundraising priorities.
• Leads portfolio management to measure metrics and progress of gift officers.
• Provides high quality briefings on donors and prospects in advance of meetings and events.
• Develops and manages prospect research policies following APRA guidelines.
