Job summary

Cleveland Play House seeks a full-time Individual Giving Manager to grow its donor program, focusing on annual giving, mid-level donors, and membership. Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, you will drive acquisition, retention, stewardship, and cultivation.

The role requires strong written communications, database proficiency (Tessitura), and a track record in nonprofit fundraising, with some evenings and weekends for donor events and performances in Cleveland, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nonprofit fundraising, development, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills; experience with donor communications preferred.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases; Tessitura experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends for donor events and performances.

Responsibilities

• Manage CPH's annual giving program including direct mail, digital campaigns, telefunding, and membership renewals.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new donors and upgrade existing donors.
• Manage the CPH membership program including benefit fulfillment and stewardship.
• Track and analyze annual giving metrics and recommend improvements.
