Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collection and donor procedures in accordance with FDA and AABB standards. You will obtain medical histories and vitals, collect samples, and maintain professional interactions with donors and staff.

Responsibilities include high-quality patient care, accurate documentation, and participation in donor recruitment efforts. A High School diploma is required, and basic computer skills are expected for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and use basic software.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors.
