Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomy professional to perform blood collection and related procedures in accordance with FDA and AABB standards. The role emphasizes donor safety, accurate medical history collection, and exceptional customer service on a mobile or fixed-site unit.

Responsibilities include collecting blood components, maintaining donor records, and assisting in recruiting potential apheresis or bone marrow donors while adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Read and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Write routine reports.
• Organize work for timely completion.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships.
• English read/write/speak.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
