Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and collection procedures on donors according to FDA and AABB standards, while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

The role involves obtaining donor medical history and vitals, and may include assisting with recruitment of apheresis and bone marrow donors. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
