Job summary

MANA-SOTA LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE BLIND INC is seeking a Donor Cultivation Manager to identify and cultivate new prospects, building relationships that expand Lighthouse's philanthropic support and move donors toward ongoing giving relationships.

Reporting to the CEO and Business Development Director, you will manage post-award activities, develop fundraising plans, coordinate events, and use Salesforce and AI-assisted tools to research donors, draft communications, and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or related field.
• At least three years' experience in donor cultivation, relationship management, planned giving, grants management, or related fundraising work.
• Knowledge of the local community/service area and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with new organizational and individual prospects to increase Lighthouse's philanthropic support.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective donors and funding partners.
• Develop and implement a planned giving program, including identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors for legacy gifts.
• Schedule meetings among prospects, CEO, and Business Development Director to solidify relationships.
• Lead the Annual Fundraising Plan and coordinate fundraising events including the Gala.
• Manage post-award grant and gift activities, including reporting and donor acknowledgment.
• Use Salesforce as the system of record to manage donor relationships and communications.
• Collaborate with Marketing and manage donor communications.
• Use AI-assisted tools to streamline prospect research, communications drafting, and reporting workflows.
