Job summary

Faith in Place is seeking a Development Manager for Individual and Planned Giving to lead donor fundraising, major gifts, and annual campaigns. You will collaborate with the fundraising team and report to the Development Director while stewarding a growing base of supporters.

You will design and manage campaigns, organize donor communications and events, and help build a durable planned giving program that increases sustaining gifts and legacy giving across Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of fundraising or development experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors including major gifts.
• Experience planning and executing fundraising campaigns (annual appeals, year-end campaigns, events).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor messaging.
• Experience using donor CRM software (EveryAction preferred).
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple campaigns.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor events and fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

• Meet annual revenue goals for donor categories and campaigns.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors with emphasis on major gifts.
• Lead and implement spring appeal, sponsorship campaigns, and end-of-year campaigns.
• Implement donor thanking processes and personalize stewardship activities.
• Research and grow planned giving programs, including sustaining donations and legacy gifts.
• Supervise 1-2 direct reports and collaborate with fundraising team.
