Job summary

Northern Kentucky University is seeking an Assistant Director of Donor Engagement to design and coordinate donor experiences and connect gifts to impact. This role supports University Advancement by ensuring timely thank-you messages and ongoing donor engagement across stewardship programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating donor storytelling, acknowledgments, recognition programs, events, and maintaining donor records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate opportunities for donors to experience impact through storytelling and events.
• Coordinate and execute the acknowledgment process for gifts.
• Collaborate to coordinate donor programs and recognition societies.
• Manage donor relations events throughout the year.
• Maintain knowledge of university priorities to identify engagement opportunities.
• Provide administrative support for donor visits and outreach.
• Maintain donor database and ensure touchpoints are captured.
• Create a resource identifying on-campus engagement and giving opportunities.
