Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donor Specialist in Powder Springs to assist guests, process donations, and keep donor areas organized. The role emphasizes a friendly, helpful approach and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and instructions.
• Promote teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
