Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donor Specialist at our Cobb Parkway location in Smyrna, GA. This full-time role pays $13.50 per hour and involves inspecting and grading donated goods, processing items quickly, and maintaining a friendly guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities include providing receipts, sorting items, assisting truck drivers, and adhering to safety procedures. A High School diploma or GED and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Strong guest experience culture.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Answer guest questions and resolve problems following SOPs.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
