Job summary

Clothing Donation Services of Tennessee seeks a dedicated Donation Station Attendant to greet donors and provide courteous service while accurately receiving and recording donations.

The role emphasizes safeguarding donated items, keeping the site clean, and ensuring supplies and signage are well-presented. A full-time position with benefits is offered; part-time options may be available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Good communication skills, oral and written.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to submit to a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service
• Assist with receiving and recording donations
• Safeguard donations until collected
• Maintain a clean and organized donation site
• Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies
• Place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner
• Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose
