Job summary

Evansville Goodwill is seeking a Donor Greeter to welcome donors and customers while supporting efficient, revenue-generating store operations in our Evansville location. You will help with basic questions, sorting donations, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Under Store Manager, you will accept donations, assist in processing donated goods, train team members and volunteers, and help maintain safety and housekeeping standards. The role requires flexibility, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to meet production standards for stocking and pricing donated goods within Goodwill guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers and assisting with basic questions.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue donation receipts.
• Assist in training of team members and volunteers.
• Maintain safe and clean processing area; ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
