Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to warmly welcome donors and customers and assist with basic questions. The role supports store operations, processes donations, and upholds Goodwill policies.

You will work under the Store Manager in a fast-paced team, helping train volunteers and staff while meeting production standards and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Perform basic calculations to track donations and price items within Goodwill guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of incoming donations with pallet jack.
• Loads and sorts materials; maintain accurate records and issue donation receipts.
• Maintain a cheerful disposition; assist in training team members.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends; ensure safety and housekeeping.
