Job summary

Evansville Goodwill is hiring a Donor Greeter to support daily store operations and maximize revenue for mission programs. You will greet donors, assist with questions, and help with donation processing in a fast-paced team setting.

The role requires the ability to meet production standards, perform basic calculations, and follow Goodwill policies. A high school diploma and English literacy are preferred, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers and providing assistance with basic questions.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Perform basic calculations to track donations and price donated goods.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of incoming donations including the use of a pallet jack.
• Loads and sorts materials according to Goodwill policy and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue receipts to donors.
• Assist in training of team members and volunteers.
• Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.
• Keep processing area neat and maintain good housekeeping standards.
