Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Advancement Events Manager to design and execute high-end donor events, up to 15 annually, including VIP and large-scale public programs. The role coordinates with senior leadership to engage stakeholders and secure sponsorships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fundraising events, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage budgets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years fundraising experience with events and sponsorships.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; able to manage budgets and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Conceive an annual schedule of high-end IA events with leadership.
• Plan virtual and in-person IA events from concept to execution.
• Secure speakers, negotiate costs, coordinate vendors and logistics.
• Lead event planning meetings and create attendee materials.
• Coordinate invitations, follow-ups, and donor communications.
• Maintain event budgets, invoicing, and reporting.
• Solicit corporate sponsors and manage sponsor relationships.
