Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is seeking a Philanthropy Specialist to advance fundraising and community engagement. You will manage grant research, develop proposals, submit reports, and support donor recognition while building relationships with foundations, corporations, and community leaders.

The role involves donor engagement activities, event support, CRM usage, and ensuring compliance with gift policies. Strong writing, organization, and collaboration are essential skills for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum two years nonprofit fundraising or grant coordination experience.
  • Minimum one year grant/sponsorship/funding request experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; databases.

Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising strategic planning and data gathering to identify engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain donor contact and effective stewardship of grant awards.
  • Develop and coordinate proposals and sponsor recognitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to submit proposals and arrange site visits.
