Job summary

K-LOVE is seeking a Donor Advisor to qualify, cultivate, and steward mid-level donors within its Annual Giving Program. You will manage a donor portfolio, execute engagement strategies, and help close gifts ranging from mid to major levels, all while aligning with our ministry and mission.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, timely outreach, and accurate record-keeping to maximize donor impact for Christ-centered ministry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education and training with relevant experience.
• Fundraising certification a plus.
• Minimum three years of donor development and fundraising experience including regular personal contacts to qualify donors.
• High energy professional with a track record of building donor/customer relationships and closing gifts/sales.
• Demonstrated ability to listen to and understand the goals, interests, and passions of donors.
• Effective time and detail management, able to manage and complete several projects concurrently.
• Ability to work strategically, set priorities, define goals and outcomes, detail tactics, and achieve results.
• An individual who is energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• A commitment to accuracy, transparency, and accountability in conversations with donors and prospects, marketing, and reporting.
• A passion for Christian ministry and commitment to our mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and cultivate relationships within K-LOVE’s Annual Giving Program of mid-level donors and prospects.
• Execute strategies to engage donors and increase gifts.
• Assist with closing mid-level gifts and managing donor portfolios.
• Escalate major and principal donors with a transition plan.
• Regular outreach to donors to assess readiness for deeper engagement.
• Manage and engage your own donor portfolio.
• Record activities and interactions in donor data records.
• Improve year-over-year retention and donor engagement.
• Meet activity and fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with team and manager to achieve fundraising objectives.
• Respond to stakeholders in the Annual Giving program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
