Meridian International Center in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Institutional Advancement to support fundraising efforts within the Engagement, Growth, and Partnerships division. You will independently manage a donor portfolio and lead on one or more events, including strategy, collateral, and timelines.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of frontline fundraising or event coordination in the nonprofit sector, with strong written and verbal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of frontline fundraising or related nonprofit experience.
  • Experience with donor research, stewardship, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Fundraising outreach and management of assigned donor portfolio with minimal oversight.
  • Independent moves management for donor portfolios—identification, cultivation, asks, and stewardship.
  • Draft and finalize fundraising materials, sponsorships, invitations, and event-related correspondence.
  • Lead on donor events and campaigns; onboard logistics, RSVPs, and communications.
  • Manage donor database records in Salesforce and track gifts, pledges, and acknowledgments.
