Job summary

The Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT seeks a Development and Events Coordinator to support the Development team with donor and member events, cultivation activities, and related communications. You will collaborate with the central Events team on production and logistics, manage event workflows, and ensure coordinated execution across departments while engaging with the Director of Donor Relations.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented candidate with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration across departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting donor relations, membership, or event logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, staffing, communications, and logistics for donor and member events.
  • Serve as primary coordination point between Development, Operations, Marketing & Communications, Visitor Services and external vendors.
  • Support vendor, catering, and venue coordination, including scheduling and day-of logistics.
  • Provide on-site event support including setup, check-in, staffing, and breakdown.
  • Track attendance and post-event activity; update donor and member records.
  • Assist with event budgets, invoices, expense tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate Gala and Gala Committee activities with the Director of Donor Relations.
  • Own and maintain the Development event and cultivation calendar; coordinate shared documents and templates.
  • Support Development presentations, special initiatives, and other priorities as needed.
