Job summary

The Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) seeks a Development & Engagement Coordinator to drive day-to-day fundraising operations. Based in Dedham, MA, you will work with the development team to support individual, corporate, and foundation giving, ensuring growth and strong donor engagement.

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to communicate warmly with donors, board members, and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written communication with warmth and mission impact.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; capable of managing smooth processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication with donors, board members, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate donor engagement and meeting support, including research, agendas, and follow-up.
• Draft external communications and donor stewardship materials.
• Support proposals, reporting, and fundraising campaigns; coordinate materials.
• Manage event logistics and multi-channel appeals (MailChimp, Eventbrite, etc.).
• Maintain Salesforce donor records and pull data for reporting.
• Take notes at development strategy meetings and track next steps.
