Door of Hope, a Christian nonprofit serving families facing homelessness, seeks a Donor Database Manager to lead donor data strategy and Salesforce administration from our Pasadena office. You will translate giving data into insights that shape fundraising strategy and strengthen campaigns.

You will collaborate with the Chief Development Officer and Development Team, build dashboards, ensure data integrity, and support major gifts, grants, and donor communications with precise reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of relevant nonprofit development, donor relations, and database management experience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce preferred; proficiency in Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex queries, reports, and dashboards to inform fundraising strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey data insights to non-technical colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary Salesforce Administrator, owning database architecture, security, and optimization.
• Maintain data integrity across donor records, giving history, and relationships.
• Design data entry policies, workflows, and best practices for Development Team staff.
• Process monetary donations and manage the gift acknowledgment cycle.
• Manage year-end tax reporting and matching gift processing.
• Oversee donor segmentation for campaigns and communications.
• Produce monthly reconciliation reports with Accounting.
• Build dashboards and reports on giving trends, retention, and campaign performance.
• Translate data analysis into strategic donor cultivation recommendations.
• Identify prospective donors using research tools and prioritize outreach.
• Track campaigns and provide leadership with regular updates.
