Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Philanthropy Development Manager to cultivate relationships with community members, physicians, employees, and prospective major gift donors in a role that splits time between Stephens Memorial Hospital and Franklin Memorial Hospital in a hybrid arrangement.

You will manage a donor portfolio, develop strategies for major and planned gifts, support annual giving and donor stewardship, and partner with the Philanthropy team to grow engagement and support for MaineHealth's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or CFRE preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing major gifts
• Experience supervising fundraising or development professionals strongly preferred. Healthcare philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a culture of philanthropy by building strong relationships with community members, physicians, employees, and prospective major gift donors.
• Oversee all aspects of major gift fundraising related to the LHCs and donor engagement to support MaineHealth's mission and goals.
• Develop and implement customized donor engagement strategies with the Philanthropy Services team; manage proposals, annual appeals, estate/planned giving, and donor stewardship.
