Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is seeking a Communications Specialist to develop and execute donor-centric communications across print, digital, and multimedia platforms. You will collaborate with Marketing, PER, and executive leadership to craft engaging content, fundraising appeals, and impact stories, while upholding branding and SOPs.

This role emphasizes a digital-first approach and data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years writing sales/marketing copy for nonprofit, ad agency or corporate settings.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Outstanding written and oral communications; editing and proofreading a must.
• Blend technical writing with a warm, conversational tone for diverse audiences.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment with tight deadlines.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Think strategically, solve problems, and exercise sound judgement.
• Strong organizational skills; proficient in MS Office and project tools.
• Ability to infuse Jewish culture and Israel heritage into work.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and proofread communications for programs and events.
• Develop fundraising appeals and donor stewardship communications.
• Create audience-focused content across print, web, and multimedia platforms.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PER, and leadership to align messaging.
• Ensure branding and SOPs are followed; maintain accuracy.
• Support digital-first marketing and analytics across channels.
• Prepare executive-ready custom communications for the CEO and senior leaders.
