Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Spring, TX seeks a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations and donor care. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, you will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and maintain donor records.

You will also help identify process improvements, work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and ensure safety for donors and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 32 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate center-process improvements using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
