Job summary

Innovative Blood Resources in Duluth, MN seeks a dedicated phlebotomist to support donor screening, customer service, and whole blood collection at fixed centers or mobile drives. You will work with diverse donors and participate in ongoing training sessions to uphold safety and quality on every shift.

The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, a variable schedule, and comprehensive benefits. Local travel is required with reliable transportation to/from assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Local travel; reliable transportation to work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document vitals of presenting donors to determine eligibility.
• Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) in accordance with policies and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and pre/post donation care as needed.
• Assist with setup of community blood drives including loading/unloading of mobile units.
• Perform cleaning tasks, including equipment cleaning.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness of documentation to prevent loss of units.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
