Where Your Career is a Force for Good! (Job Overview):

Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection at our fixed site locations. You will work with your team to create a welcoming environment for donors, following all safety procedures to collect lifesaving blood donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect personally with donors, listening to their stories and explaining the impact of their donations.
• Work with your team to ensure a friendly environment, encouraging repeat donations.
• Be detail-oriented to meet collection goals and safety standards.

Standard Schedule (Johnstown, PA):

• Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Four 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
• Schedules provided 2-3 weeks in advance.

Pay Information:

• Starting at $18.50/hour, with potential increases based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent education and experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, sit, stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT).
• Leadership experience.
