WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection at our fixed site locations. Create a welcoming environment for donors, follow safety procedures, and ensure the safe collection of blood donations for hospitals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Connect personally with donors, sharing the impact of their donations.
  • Work with your team to ensure a friendly environment encouraging repeat donations.
  • Maintain attention to detail to meet collection goals and safety standards.
Standard Schedule (New Hartford, NY):
  • Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance.
Pay:
  • Starting at $20.91/hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good record.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, sit, stand, and adapt to irregular hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
  • Leadership experience.
