What You Need to Know (Job Overview):

Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection at our fixed sites. Create a welcoming environment for donors and follow all safety procedures to collect lifesaving blood donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect personally with donors, listening to their stories and explaining the impact of their donations.
• Work with your team to ensure donors feel comfortable and eager to return.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure compliance with goals and safety standards.

Schedule & Pay:

Location: Columbus, Gahanna, Lewis Center Ohio

• Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule released 2-3 weeks in advance.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week.

Starting pay: $19.89/hour, with potential increases based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, sit, stand, and adapt to irregular hours.
• Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
• Leadership experience.
