Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a part-time clinical professional to screen donors for automated pheresis at our Dallas center. The role involves medical history intake, donor suitability assessments, and providing emergency care within SOPs.

You will collaborate with the Center Medical Director to answer donor-related medical questions and manage test results. Ideal candidates have healthcare experience and a background in paramedic/nursing/PA/MD/ND training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a health care environment.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood collection center or other regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine suitability.
• Assess donor test results to determine continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer as needed.
• Escalate critical medical situations to the Center Physician.
