Job summary

The University of Illinois Foundation is seeking an Event Engagement Coordinator in Champaign, IL to support and execute key donor engagement events. The role involves logistics, coordination with partners, space management at the Philanthropy Center, and some evening/weekend travel.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and customer service skills, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with Blackbaud or similar CRM systems.

• Experience in philanthropy or donor engagement is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events related to board and donor engagement, including pre-event, on-site staffing, and post-event follow-up.
• Provide logistical support to internal and external partners in event and meeting management, including planning, vendor coordination, budget review, and basic A/V setup.
