Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sorter/Processor to perform a variety of functions to assist in the operation of the sorting room and production area. Responsibilities include sorting, tagging, pricing, and maintaining organization of donations, while supporting the work therapy program.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Previous processing experience is preferred and cross-training will be provided under supervision.

Qualifications

• Processing experience preferred.
• Have a working knowledge of clothing quality and price.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Can lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist sorting room operation.
• Cross train under Sorting Room Supervisor.
• Maintain clean and organized sorting room area.
• Bale as needed and support work therapy program components.
• Process, sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Support various duties as assigned by supervisor.
