Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking Donations Sorters/Pricers to be the welcoming face of the store, helping donors and processing donations up to 50 lbs. This role involves pricing merchandise and providing friendly donor service.

You will greet donors, assist with receipts, price merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Some cross-training in cash register and textile tagging may occur, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and 10–35 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment—taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Cross-training in Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing; Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
