Job summary

Goodwill in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Retail Associate to perform donation processing, price merchandise, and provide friendly customer service. You will handle cash register operations, assist with stocking and merchandising, and maintain store cleanliness in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail cashiering or shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition when servicing customers.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, and general donated items for saleability.
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors.
• Stock shelves and maintain displays.
• Price merchandise according to prescribed criteria.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale.
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices.
