Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a warehouse associate to handle donated goods processing and related support tasks. You will sort items, move materials, assist donors, and maintain donation records while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires basic reading/writing skills, good eyesight, and the ability to operate a hand truck. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected as part of store needs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or related experience.
• Good eyesight with color definition.
• Strong communication skills, both speaking and listening.
• Ability to quickly assess goods and determine routing.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use a hand truck.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presort donated goods into textiles, hardline, and trash.
• Move materials between workstations.
• Assist donors with unloading cars and provide receipts.
• Maintain donation records daily.
• Pack seasonal items and label them.
• Support store shipment processing and related paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
• Grade textiles and hardlines to standards.
• Meet productivity goals and store expectations.
• Communicate donation policies professionally.
