Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Greenville, SC is seeking a FT non-exempt associate to support donation flow from receiving to sales floor. You will greet customers, move goods by hand or with equipment, and help load/unload trucks at the distribution center.

Responsibilities include sorting, tagging, inventorying processed and unprocessed items, performing custodial duties, and following safety procedures. The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to lift and move goods.
• Safety procedures training and adherence.
• Work hours as assigned by store location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors upon entering the location/store.
• Physically handle processed and unprocessed goods in production areas and shipping.
• Load and unload trucks from the distribution center.
• Load donated or purchased goods from donors’/purchasers’ vehicles as needed.
• Process goods: sorting, tagging, hanging, cleaning, inspecting, counting.
• Organize, inventory and count goods for store orders or seasonal storage.
• Sort and label goods for recycling.
• Perform custodial and janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
