Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking a donor services associate to greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts. You’ll sort, price merchandise, move items to the sales floor, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety.

You’ll work indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements; free training is provided and no prior experience is required. Expect standing, walking, and physical tasks including lifting up to 100+ pounds.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 100+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and stay active during shifts.
• Reliable and team-focused with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
