Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Greenville, SC is seeking a full-time, non-exempt employee to provide timely and courteous customer service to associates and the public, and support donation and delivery operations. You will represent the organization professionally and help promote its mission.

You will load and unload trucks, follow safety practices, assist the driver, and perform housekeeping and general duties as required. Base pay is $13.50 per hour; contact [e-mail] for inquiries.

Responsibilities

• To offer excellent customer service when making delivery to stores or picking up at donation centers and when in contact with the general public.
• To load and unload trucks and trailers in a safe efficient manner.
• To learn and exercise best methods and work practices for safety in loading and unloading all materials.
• To have the ability to function within medium to heavy work requirements necessary to carry out material handling responsibilities.
• To assist truck driver by watching for obstacles when backing vehicle
• To keep equipment in best working order through regular maintenance program and to report any problems to the Transportation Supervisor
• To perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as may be scheduled and assigned.
• To perform all other duties that may be assigned.
