Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is hiring a Donation Services Driver Assistant in Nashville, TN. You will travel with and assist Donation Services Drivers to pick up donations from homes, businesses and drives, ensuring efficient collection and excellent donor service.

You will sort and pack donations, maintain records, and assist with loading/unloading while following safety policies and road rules. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential to support our mission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience in material handling is preferred.
• Ability to lift or carry loads weighing over 50 pounds continuously.
• Ability to push or pull loads weighing over 50 pounds continuously.

Responsibilities

• Assist Donation Services Drivers in pickup of donations from homes, businesses, and drives.
• Sort and pack donations for transport; maintain donation records and receipts.
• Provide excellent donor service and protect donated goods during handling.
• Assist with unloading and safe truck operation; communicate hazards to the driver.
• Follow safety policies and road regulations; maintain timely reporting to supervisor.
